About Fees & Insurance

My practice does accept insurance as I do believe in increasing access to mental health care. At this time, I am in-network with the following carriers:

Aetna

Blue Cross Blue Shield

Cigna and Evernorth

Harvard Pilgrim (including Health Plans Inc.)

Mass General Brigham Health Plan

Optum

United Healthcare

TRICARE East | Humana Military

Tufts - Commercial, Direct, and Public

PLEASE NOTE:

It is the responsibility of the client to verify coverage for each session. Payment is due at the time of service. If you have an insurance that is not listed above, you may still be able to use your out-of-network (OON) insurance benefits. You may elect to pay directly and then submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Not all policies have OON coverage. Please check with your insurance company directly to determine applicable reimbursement.

I accept all major credit cards, HSA/FSA cards, and secure online payments through the client portal. Cash and check is accepted for those who meet with me in-person. Electronic receipts and superbills are available for your records.

Private Pay

Initial Diagnostic Evaluation (60 mins): $160.00

Individual Psychotherapy (53-60 mins): $150.00

Individual Psychotherapy (38-52 mins): $125.00

Many clients find that private pay allows them to choose their therapist, session frequency, and treatment goals without requiring a diagnosis or prior authorization from an insurance company. This allows for greater flexibility, privacy, and the ability to tailor treatment to your needs rather than insurance restrictions.

Late-Cancellation & No Show Policy

24-hour notice of cancellation is expected to avoid a charge of $65.00 for your scheduled session. Insurance carriers cannot be billed for cancellations. Appointments cancelled before 24 hours will not be charged. However, regular attendance is expected, and excessive cancellations may result in termination or a referral to another provider.

This policy ensures consistency, fairness, and availability for all clients.

Good Faith Estimate Notice

You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don't have insurance, or who are not using insurance, an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy. You can ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
